This month we would like to highlight a very special someone for Skater of the Month — Please give it up for Siouxsicide Bomb (SB)!
SB came to us in November of 2013 with many moons of derby business experience under her belt. Although she hung up her skates
long ago, she is a tireless member of RMRG whose off-track work is indespensible. In addition to her local derby contributions,
she devotes many hours to the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), which guides and mentors leagues around the world.
We are a lucky bunch to have her in our midst!
Thank you, and congrats SB!
February Skater of the Month
The Rocky Mountain Rollergirls are proud to announce our February Skater of the Month: Harper Bizarre! Harper transferred to Rocky from a local rec league (shout-out to the Wreckin’ Roller Rebels!) in December of 2013 and was quickly drafted to the Red Riding Hoods in January 2014. She has a presence that is to be admired, whether on or off skates. As a skater, Harper’s jamming talents quickly became apparent, and before long she became a member of The Contenders, and recently joined our 5280 Fight Club! Off the track, Harper’s contributions to the team’s Art department can be seen in our programs and flyers all around town. She is always ready with a smile, a kind word, and supportive cheers for her teammates, and that’s why we’d like to say congratulations to Harper Bizarre! You are amazing!
