The Rocky Mountain Rollergirls 5280 Fight Club kick off their 2014 season this weekend as the Kansas City Roller Warriors come to town for a Saturday night double-header. Rocky Mountain, currently ranked #9 in the world, and Kansas City (#19) last played in Lincoln, Nebraska in July of last year. Rocky Mountain came out of that one with a 251-159 victory and hopes to put up a similar result this time around. Kansas City brings to town recent Team USA addition Trauma while Rocky Mountain will welcome 2011 Team USA star Juska to their 2014 roster. Other notable additions to a solid Fight Club roster include Phantom Menace, Barbie Boop, and Megalops. Each of these ladies was on the 2013 squad, but did not see much play time. Hard work this off-season has landed them in the lineup this weekend.

Following the 6:00 PM sanctioned game, Rocky Mountain’s Contenders will take on Kansas City’s Plan B in a regulation “B-Team” game.
